Hi, wishing everyone a happy chinese new year :) Art by my friend Beatrice in Taiwan. The text is actually Japanese it says: 1.謹賀新年 >> "kingashinnen" in roma-ji. "きんがしんねん" in hiragana. it means " Happy New Year" 2.元旦 >> "gantan" in roma-ji. "がんたん" in hiragana. it means " New Year's Day" 3.希望に満ちた新春をお迎えの事とお慶び申し上げます。>> "kibou ni michita shinsyun (or shinshun) o omukae no koto to oyorokobi moushiagemasu" in roma-ji. "きぼう に みちた しんしゅん を おむかえ の こと と およろこび もうしあげます" in hiragana. it means like "I'm glad you have a new year to be full of hope." or "I hope it will be a great year with hope for you" 4.今年もよろしくお願いいたします。>>"kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu" in roma-ji. "ことし も よろしく おねがい いたします" in hiragana. it means like "sincerely yours" or "please be kind to me again this year" or "I look forward to enjoying your company this year also"
